Java Developer

Job description:
  • 1. To solve complex data migration and integration tasks and design for medium complex solutions.
  • 2. Be able to handle customer contact and secure delivery of quality products.
  • 3. Responsible for technical project management on medium scale projects.
  • 4. Be up to date with the newest technologies within relevant areas.

Development:
  • 1. Participate actively in the creation and review of the requirement specification.
  • 2. Work with Product and Project Management to build proof-of-concept prototypes.
  • 3. Create "bottom up" development schedules and control the technical part of medium scale projects.
  • 4. Development of test cases and execution of tests, including system test, unit test and user acceptance test.
  • 5. Develop and build the product (code builds may also be performed by testing).
  • 6. Address and fix bugs in a timely manner.

Customer Contact:
  • 1. Play a part in pre-sales or project customer meetings. Can in simple way describe complex setup to secure customer understanding.
  • 2. Participate in the technical setup delivery in tenders/offers/RFP for medium to complex solutions.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:
  • 1. Java, .Net, other
  • 2. Database skills (SQL, Data Modelling, PL/SQL)
  • 3. Experience in Middleware (DataStage, SAP PI, Biz Talk, or other) is a plus
  • 4. Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or the equivalent
  • 5. 5+ Years Software Development
