Operation Architect

The Operations Architect works in close cooperation with Service Delivery Management, Client Management and the Service areas in order to identify and deliver continuous business value for NNIT’s customers.

As Operations Architect you have the operational responsibility for the Availability, Capacity and Business Continuity Management processes.

The Operations Architect acts as a trusted advisor for specific customers and spans across the overall ITOS service portfolio.

You must together with the SDM be able to manage communication and negotiation with both the customer as well as internal and external (vendors and subcontractors) stakeholders.

You must have business strategy skills and be able to unify multiple concepts and define new directions or improvements of products and services.

The education of a Solution Architect is Bachelor or M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, comparable degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.

Contribute to the identification of approaches, tools and techniques to meet the given solution and service requirements

Control, monitor and ensure that KPIs are met related to Availability, Capacity and Business Continuity Management as agreed with the customer SLA

Perform periodical reporting and assessments of customer Availability, Capacity and Business Continuity status and follow up when needed

Ability to perform stakeholder management (i.e. users, sponsors, application management and others) in order to keep track of evolving needs

Ensure a consistent and reliable performance of the infrastructure to deliver the required level of service to the business of the customer

Support Client Management in bid activities

The Operations Architect has a thorough understanding of the IT infrastructure service stack provided by NNIT and the dependencies and correlations between these services.

The Operations Architects is concerned with the design of services to assure manageability of infrastructure and applications used by the customer. It is important to assure that documentation and controls regarding Availability, Capacity and Business Continuity Management are defined, measureable and in place as well as agreed with NNIT service owners and the customer before a new solution is set into production.

Advise and recommend on new technologies, services and methods which can improve the business and IT operation of the customer or reduce cost of IT operation. Communicate present and future rationales of a given technical issue

relating to the customer so that stakeholders accepts the choices and agrees with the rationale

together with the customer define IT initiatives related to IT operations that can improve the business performance through IT

Together with the SDM manage communication and negotiation with both customer, internal- and external partners

Ability to lead and interact with a team of specialists from various disciplines and ensure aligned deliverablesYou should be in good health condition.
