Oracle DBA

NNIT (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd seeks Oracle database administrator. You will work in Database Operation Services team as Oracle DBA. The team manage global infrastructure databases for several customers.

As a database administrator, you will be working on both operating tasks and projects, including the preparation of requirements specifications, system descriptions, designing, testing and ongoing quality assurance. You will be working on both large and small consultancy tasks in the area, and will be involved in helping our customers maintain and optimise their solutions.

Development
We will invest on your professional and personal development. So you will take training on the technology related with your business field, also on foreign language, communication and other “soft” skills. The training can be internal and/or external, domestic and/or abroad.

Qualifications
You should ideally have graduated as master or bachelor of computer science, and we expect you to have sharp analytical qualities. You have at least three years of experience with Oracle database administration, and your skills are centred on Oracle’s database products (8i, 9i, 10g, OEM, RMAN and RAC). You have previously handled platform operation and are familiar with the key requirements for a well-functioning platform.　 In addition to the core areas mentioned above, you should be familiar with the following: UNIX, Linux or Windows, Networks, Monitoring, Cluster technology.

Good Written and Spoken English is a MUST as we assist international customers.

You should be able to work in a busy environment and at the same time offer good service. Good communication and co-operation skills are a natural part of your personality as well as the ability to think analytical and take on responsibility of your tasks. You are not intimidated by deadlines or frequent changes in the organisation.You should be in good health condition.
